Providing Legal Advice
We will always give you bespoke employment law advice, tailored towards the needs of your business, and will explain clearly what options are available to you. We provide businesses with advice on all areas of employment law, including but not limited to:
- Disciplinary Procedures
- Pay Disputes
- Discrimination
- Settlement Agreements
- Negotiating Exit Packages
- Unfair Dismissal
- Harassment
- Maternity Leave
- Redundancy
In addition to providing advice as and when needed, we also act on behalf of employers on a monthly retainer basis. For further information about our monthly retainer service, please contact us by calling 0330 221 0684 or via e-mail at [email protected].
Drafting and Preparing Documents
Another service we provide is creating both personalised employment contracts and employment contract templates for businesses to utilise. These can range depending on the situation e.g. fixed term contract, short term contract, contract for a junior employee, contract for a senior employee. We tailor each employment contract to the specific situation and individual’s circumstances, creating and adding any specific clauses you require. We can add clauses such as restrictive covenants where necessary to protect your businesses interests.
If you are hiring someone who is self-employed and not an employee, this is also something we can assist with by preparing consultancy agreements, which again are tailored to each individuals circumstances.
We also help employer’s by preparing a company handbook equipped with relevant policies and guidance for employees and staff. The handbook will be a bespoke document, modified and personalised to meet the employer’s needs. The handbook can be in short form or long form dependant on the employer’s desire.
For all contracts, consultancy agreements and handbooks we offer one free set of amendments as part of our services.
GDPR Compliance
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in May 2018. As part of GDPR compliance, employer’s should be aware of their duty to protect the personal data of staff.
To aid employer’s with GDPR compliance, we can prepare a privacy notice. This is designed to put measures in place to ensure personal data is protected with the workplace.
